About
BC-CPCSSN is the British Columbia node of the pan-Canadian CPCSSN. It spans all of British Columbia, extracting data from four different electronic medical records and engaging clinicians and scientists in creating knowledge for and about primary care. BC-CPCSSN forms a part of the primary care data platform of the Strategy for Patient Oriented Primary and Integrated Health Care Innovation Network node: BC-Primary Health Care Research Network. It enables:
- Monitoring and direct feedback to practicing clinicians (family physicians, nurse practitioners)
- Implementation and evaluation of e-health solutions such as the Data Presentation Tool
BC-CPCSSN is guided by a British Columbia clinician advisory committee with governance from the BC-PHCRN Tripartite leadership which includes: science, policy (e.g. Ministry of Health and General Practice Services Committee), and clinician leadership.
